The Queen City Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society

History Of the Queen City NCRS Chapter

The Queen City Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society was founded by a group of Cincinnatians who wanted to become more active in the Corvette hobby and NCRS in particular. Our first chairman Matt Stansbury started the formulation process for the Queen City Chapter in August of 1993 along with a group of individuals who committed their valuable time in founding and maintaining the Chapter. The first meeting was held on Saturday, December 11th, 1993 at the Sharonville Pizza Hut with 38 people in attendance. Many of these original members are still very active in the group and others have become the cornerstones of the Chapter. They have and still do contribute much time and energy into making this Chapter one of the NCRS's finest. In 1999, the Chapter was honored as the NCRS Chapter of the Year.

Club activities include monthly meetings generally held on the third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held at different homes of our Chapter members and businesses in our area. They are both fun and interesting with lots of Corvette talk and camaraderie. Other activities include an annual Fall Chapter meet, a picnic, technical sessions, judged meets, road tours, and a winter Swap Meet.

Today the Queen City Chapter of the NCRS is one of the larger chapters with about 100 participating families. So come join the fun and make some new friends!
